About
Well, hello there. Welcome. A bit about professional me. I produced audio and video content for over 12 years at the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington, DC. During that time, I created and produced a podcast about homelessness for Street Sense Media. Among other things, I am interested in the intersection of media and social change. Representation Matters.
My personal back story goes like this. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but I “grew up” in DC, where I lived for 17 years after college. A few of my favorite things: Sitting in a dark room, listening to music or a podcast, drinking dark coffee. Sitting in the sunshine (in a hammock), listening to music or a podcast, drinking dark coffee. Basically, I like to listen and be caffeinated. I also love hot pizza, cold tequila, and my bilingual dog, Marisol. :)
